A dog that attacked a 2-year-old Plant City boy Tuesday has been euthanized.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, the attack happened at 8 a.m. near the 3700 block of east Trapnell Road.
A witness said she was talking to a Hillsborough sheriff's deputy at the time and they both helped save the boy, Michael Diaz, from the dog.
The dog, a 50 lb. boxer, belonged to the victim's family.
