Bradenton police are conducting a death investigation after a woman was found floating face down in a swimming pool.
The woman's body was found in a pool at the Coral Shores East complex on 89th Street W. just after 9 p.m. Sunday.
Police identified the dead woman as 80-year-old Geneva Brown.
Officials said Brown lived in a downstairs unit at the complex while her daughter lived upstairs.
The daughter went to check on her mother Sunday night and discovered her in the pool.
An investigation is ongoing.
