A Tampa woman has been cited for careless driving after authorities say she rear-ended a Hernando County school bus.
The Florida Highway Patrol reports that the bus was stopped with its lights and stop arms activated to pick up a student Monday morning when 54-year-old Jan Robert crashed into it. Officials say Robert was extricated from her car and hospitalized with minor injuries.
The bus had been carrying three children, but no injuries were reported to them or the driver.
