With the low pressure area pulling away, the bulk of the rain has ended.

Here’s what you need to know:

  • Flood Watch canceled
  • Warm and muggy tonight
  • Drier air will arrive by the end of the week

The tropical moisture has moved out, so there’s only an isolated chance for a few showers through Wednesday.  It will however still be muggy and warm.

Morning lows will be in the mid to upper 70s.

Skies will be partly sunny with a 20 percent chance of a shower Wednesday.

Highs will be in the upper 80s.

But drier air will arrive by the end of the week for big changes this weekend. A front will come through by Friday and usher in the driest air in months. By this weekend, the lows will drop to the 60s in most of our area. The drier air will be very comfortable.
