A waterspout briefly appeared Friday morning over Old Tampa Bay, just east of the Bayside Bridge.

Our viewers were quick to capture photos of the waterspout, which appeared shortly after 10 a.m. and dissipated quickly.

According to meteorologist Diane Kacmarik, the waterspout developed when a small storm developed over Old Tampa Bay.
