An investigation is underway after a fire damaged a mobile home in Homosassa.

Citrus County Fire Rescue was dispatched around 9:48 p.m. Saturday to the home in the 6100 block of West Cardinal Street.

When firefighters arrived, 25 percent of the mobile home was engulfed in flames, according to the fire incident report. Flames were seen coming out of the roof.

Firefighters were able to get the fire under control within 10 minutes. Fire engines from Connell Heights, Sugarmill Woods and Homosassa were also at the scene to assist.

No injuries were reported.

The damage to the home is estimated at $30,000. The American Red Cross is assisting the family.

The State Fire Marshal was contacted to determine the cause of the fire.
