Troy McGuire, 48, was killed on October 9 while answering a call on southbound I-75.

After Florida Highway Patrol troopers stopped three cars for racing, McGuire was called out to tow the cars away. As McGuire was loading the last of the cars on his truck, troopers said another driver in a Honda pickup truck failed to move over for the vehicles in the road's shoulder.

The driver then left his lane, veering into the shoulder and hitting McGuire before crashing into McGuire's tow truck. McGuire died at the scene.

A Clearwater towing company, Nationwide Towing, organized a memorial procession for McGuire set to roll on Sunday.
