Here's what you need to know about Tampa Bay area weather heading into Friday evening and the weekend.

  • Coast, Tampa Bay stay breezy through evening
  • Partly to mostly cloudy skies through weekend
  • Humidity remains low

Northeast breezes will subside tonight, starting with the Nature Coast, then inland areas.  The coast and Tampa Bay will stay breezy through the evening.

Skies will be partly cloudy through morning.  Lows will remain some 3 to 6 degrees above normal for this time of the year, with lows falling into the lower 60s across the Nature Coast, and mid to upper 60s around Tampa Bay.

Surface high pressure building down the eastern seaboard, combined with a broad area of low pressure over the western Caribbean, will maintain a very breezy persistent northeast-to-east wind flow into Saturday.  An upper low continues spinning in the Western Gulf, helping to push high clouds our way.

This pattern of mostly cloudy to partly cloudy skies will continue through the weekend. High temperatures will remain above normal in the mid to upper 80s.  The humidity will remain reasonable, and upper level moisture remains too low for any rain chances.

Warm Florida Fall conditions continue through the work week, including for Halloween.

An upper trough moves north of the region to end this weekend then an upper level ridge of high pressure over the Gulf builds eastward over the region early through mid week.
