Pinellas Sheriff's deputies responded to the MarineMax boat dealership in South Pasadena Monday morning after a body was discovered. 

  • Body found Monday morning in Boca Ciega Bay
  • Man's body was found just after 7:30 
  • Identified as Kenneth Curry

Deputies began a death investigation after a man's body was found floating in Boca Ciega Bay, near one of the boat docks at the dealership, located at 6810 Gulfport Boulevard South.

The body was identified Monday afternoon as Kenneth Curry, 64. Authorities said the body was found just after 7:30 a.m.

Deputies said Curry was reported missing Sunday evening and had been last seen on La Plaza Avenue in St. Petersburg.

Officials said the circumstances surrounding Curry's death did not appear to be suspicious.
