November 8th isn't just Election Day, it's the first day for open enrollment for Magnet, Choice School Programs, and Career Academies in Polk County. Applications are now available for the 2017-2018 school year.
You can access those applications online at www.PolkEdOptions.com. The deadline to apply is January 9, 2017 at 5 p.m.
Magnet and choice schools provide students with special learning themes, such as science, technology, math, communication and the arts; along with the standard required curriculum of general education.

Polk career academies are small, personalized learning communities within a high school that focus on career skills.
