A Lakeland woman has claimed an $18 million prize in the Florida Lottery.

Diane Darty, 57, hit the Florida Lotto jackpot from the Nov. 2 drawing. She purchased her winning ticket from the 7-Eleven at 6175 S. U.S. Highway 98, the Florida Lottery said in a news release. 

Darty chose to receive her jackpot as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $13,116,440.45. The store also received a bonus commission of $90,000 for selling the winning ticket. 

The next Florida Lotto drawing will be 11:15 p.m. Wednesday, with a $3 million jackpot.
