Since dew points have moved up, it will not be as cool tonight.

  • Not quite as cool overnight
  • Patchy fog likely for the morning
  • Highs Monday will be around 80 again

Lows will be above normal, in the low to mid 60s around Tampa Bay to near 60 north. Patchy fog or low clouds will be likely in the morning.

High pressure is sliding out into the Atlantic and will shift our winds to southeasterly on Monday. It will be close enough however to keep our winds light. A sea breeze will form.

Highs will be around 80 under partly sunny skies, but it will be cooler at the coast. Some upper level energy moves by on Monday giving us a 10 percent chance for a light shower or a sprinkle. There may be some sea fog developing later on Monday at the coast.

Above-normal temperatures are expected through mid-week.

The next frontal boundary will approach north Florida into Wednesday but will slow down significantly before pushing through the area Thursday.

There will be a slight chance of a brief shower or some sprinkles with the front on Thursday. But there will be no major air mass change behind it. Behind the front, we will dry out a bit. Normal temperatures return for Friday but warmer weather is back for the weekend.
