Officials said members of the Sheriff's Office's Vice and Narcotics Unit, assisted by the S.W.A.T. team, executed a search warrant at the home of Walter "Disney" Gabrielsen, 43, on the 11700 block of Linden Drive in Spring Hill.

The warrant was the result of a lengthy investigation, according to Hernando Sheriff's officials. Undercover operatives were able to make several purchases of methamphetamine from Gabrielsen during the operation.

Detectives located meth and paraphernalia consistent with meth sales on scene, and arrested Gabrielsen immediately. He was charged with the following:

  • Sale and possession of methamphetamine within 1,000 feet of a church;
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia
  • Possession of a structure to sell methamphetamine

Gabrielsen, according to detectives, is no stranger to law enforcement. He reportedly has over 40 felony convictions and has spent time incarcerated.

County officials also noted that Gabrielsen has no affiliation or connection with the Disney family or Walt Disney World. He simply uses "Disney" as a street name.
