Hernando County deputies made a series of drug-related arrests Friday after serving three search warrants in Spring Hill.

  • Undercover investigations led to search warrants
  • Neighborhood complaints led to investigations
  • Deputies spoke to neighborhood residents following each search

From November 28 through December 1, deputies executed the warrants at three separate houses. The warrants, according to an official release, were the result of investigations during which undercover operatives purchased drugs from individuals at each of the houses.

The investigations themselves sprang from neighborhood complaints received by the Sheriff's Office.

The houses searched during the sweep were located at:

  • 2162 Linwood Avenue (Nov. 28)
  • 2379 Summerfield Avenue (Nov. 30)
  • 6074 Nantucket Lane (Dec. 1)

In total, nine people were arrested:

  • Jessica Santiago-Weber, 33, Possession of Narcotics with Intent to Sell/Deliver, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Marijuana
  • Alton Johnson, 35, Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia 
  • Michael Faccone, 61, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • James Dabal, 31, Sale and Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful use of Two-Way Communication Device, Possession of Paraphernalia, Possession of a Structure for the Sale and Delivery of Narcotics
  • Ryan Boyce, 25, Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana and Hashish, Possession of Paraphernalia
  • Nicholas Hager, 21, Possession of Marijuana over 20 grams , Possession of Paraphernalia 
  • Brittany Behnke, 22, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia (Notice to Appear Issued)
  • Mark Hanshaw, 31, Driving on a Suspended License (habitual offender), Possession of a Controlled Substance, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia
  • Jordan Potter, 23, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, Possession of Marijuana (Notice to Appear Issued)

Officials said after the execution of each search warrant, deputies spoke with neighbors in the immediate area. In each case, the residents expressed gratitude to the deputies for removing the criminal activity from the area.
