Shoppers were out in full force all across the Bay area on Christmas Eve, trying to scoop up some last minute sales and stocking stuffers. One of the longest lines at the mall was for the chance to meet and take pictures with Santa Claus.

"I think some people aren't organized and other people just think it's exciting to do it on the last day and be with all the crowds and people," one shopper said.

Thousands of people packed Countryside Mall in Clearwater grabbing gifts. Besides toys, clothes, and the latest gadgets, many people came to the mall to see the holiday season’s biggest celebrity.

"Christmas is a fun time where we get together with our families and presents," 10-year-old Charles said.

Countryside Mall and all Westfield shopping centers in the Bay area will be closed Christmas Day but will be back open on December 26.
