The Clearwater YMCA hosted the 'Spice It Up' for Autism 2016 event today to raise money for Camp COAST (Children on the Autism Spectrum Together).

The event featured a chili cook-off -- participants were divided into professional, amateur, youth and senior categories.
They were also entered in fun categories, including: "Where is the fire extinguisher?", "Most Unique Chili", and "My child ate it, and Liked it."
The judges included food experts and local celebrities like Bay News 9's Veronica Cintron, Rachel Barcellona (Miss Florida International) and Congressman David Jolly.
YMCA Camp COAST is a summer day camp for children on the autism spectrum living in Pinellas County. This YMCA program is specially designed for children with developmental disabilities who deserve a chance to have a fun summer camp experience.
