A motorcyclist died from his injuries after a Monday night crash in St. Petersburg.

The St. Petersburg Police Department identified the man as James V. Redner-Gilmartin, 19.
The crash occurred just before 10:30 p.m. on 66th Street North. Police said Redner-Gilmartin was traveling northbound in the median lane behind another vehicle.
Just prior to the intersection with 30th Avenue, Redner-Gilmartin changed lanes into the middle lane and accelerated, police said.
The driver of a 2013 Jeep Wrangler didn't see Redner-Gilmartin on his motorcycle and made a left turn into his path, according to police.
Redner-Gilmartin, who was not wearing a helmet, was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Jeep Wrangler was treated at Palms of Pasadena Hospital and released.
Police are still investigating.
