A Ruskin woman died Friday morning after troopers say she suffered a medical emergency while driving on U.S. 41.

Arminda Solier-Irizarry, 54, was driving a 2001 Ford F-150 south on U.S. 41 when she suffered the medical emergency and lost control of the pick-up truck, troopers say.

The truck left the road and crashed into the outside guardrail.

Solier-Irizarry was taken to Brandon Regional Hospital, where she later died.
