Here's what you need to know about the Tampa Bay area's weather for Wednesday:

  • Chilly Wednesday morning
  • Weather to be cooler than normal for few days
  • Warmer temperatures return by Friday

Skies will be partly cloudy overnight into early Wednesday morning.  Morning lows will be in the 40s, except for 30s in parts of Citrus and Hernando County.

Winds will continue to be breezy so it will feel cooler due to the wind chill.

Skies will go mostly sunny by Wednesday afternoon, making for a nicer looking day even though temperatures will still remain cool with highs in the upper 50s.

Wednesday night will be cold with lows in the 30s to low 40s.  There will likely be a freeze for northern counties Thursday morning.

Milder conditions will be with us Thursday afternoon into Friday.

A deep trough of low pressure remains in the Eastern U.S. Our weather stays cooler than normal but dry for the next few days.

Highs should return back to the lower 60s tomorrow and then near 70 by Friday.  Another front will cool us down a little for Valentine’s Day.
