The northbound lanes of Interstate 75 in Wesley Chapel have been reopened after a truck towing a crane collided with an overpass on Monday afternoon.

According to the Florida Highway Patrol, the northbound lanes of I-75 near Overpass Road and mile marker 282 were opened to traffic at 4 a.m. Tuesday.

Crews were at the scene overnight making repairs to the concrete that was damaged.

The driver of the truck, Aubrey Reed, 60, of Brownwood, Texas was not injured when the 2014 Peterbilt collided with the bridge.

Reed was ticketed for an over-height load.
