Here's what you need to know about Tampa Bay area weather for the rest of Sunday into Monday and Tuesday:

- Temperatures will remain above normal
- Expect fog where there has been rain
A trough of low pressure will move through shifting the winds on Monday. But no cool air will arrive. Surface high pressure will start to build back in from the Atlantic into the southern Gulf. Expect somewhat breezy southwesterly winds.
Some residual moisture over the area will allow for isolated showers over most of the area, but heavy downpours are not expected.
Temperatures will remain near to a couple of degrees above normal, with highs ranging from the mid 70s along the coast to the low to mid 80s over the interior.

High pressure will hold over central Florida through Wednesday. Generally a southwesterly wind is expected from Monday through Wednesday. This means that temperatures will be lower in the coastal counties and higher inland.
Winds will be lighter starting Tuesday. Dry and warm weather will be in place for Tuesday into Friday. Temperatures will remain above normal.
A cold front will approach north Florida on Thursday and will stall Thursday night as it becomes parallel to the upper level flow. Upper level energy will move toward us for the weekend, bringing the front south into our area, increasing the winds and increasing the chance of showers and a few thunderstorms.
