A 15-year-old girl was struck by a vehicle Wednesday morning in the Carrollwood area of Tampa.
According to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office, the girl, a Leto High student, was crossing Linebaugh Avenue at Hennesy Lane at 6:20 a.m. when she was hit.
The girl was transported to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
No charges are expected against the driver, who remained at the scene.
