Michael Anthony Herald, 48, was arrested in Hazard, Kentucky, by Kentucky State Police as he left a county park while driving the couple's SUV, deputies said.

According to officials, deputies responded to 10075 McIntosh Road late Thursday to conduct a welfare check on an elderly couple who neighbors had not seen in days.
