Investigators are looking for a man who broke into a Brooksville home early Saturday morning.
According to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office, David “Wooda” Thomas Williams, 19, entered a home located at 1326 Brook Drive around 4 a.m.
Deputies said he became involved in an altercation with one or more people inside the home. Williams had a handgun in his possession and it was discharged during the fight.
Deputies said Williams is armed and dangerous and should not be approached. He reportedly has ties to the area near Twigg Street.
