Two people were injured in a shooting overnight in Manatee County.
Shortly after midnight, Manatee County deputies responded to a shooting at a residence in the 2600 block of Cortez Rd West in Bradenton.
Deputies said the victims were inside when unknown suspect(s) began shooting into the residence.
Denise Marquez, 35, and Jorge Rivera, 58, were struck and suffered non-life threatening injuries. A third man was not injured.
