At 6 p.m., the winds gusted to 52 mph at the St. Pete/Clearwater Airport. At 6:41 p.m., the winds gusted to 50 mph at Bayshore Gardes in Bradenton.
In Pasco County, one tree was reported down on a side street on Lyle Circle in the Sea Pines Subdivision. Some traffic lights are out in the county as a result of some localized power outages, according to a county spokesperson.
The rain will move east overnight with a lull in the activity for the early morning hours. Morning lows will be in the upper 60s to low 70s.
Wednesday will feature partly sunny skies with a 40 percent coverage of scattered storms. Highs will be in the upper 80s.
