Seven cars were involved in a crash Wednesday afternoon in Pinellas Park.

The crash happened at 1:42 p.m. at the intersection of Gandy Boulevard and Grand Avenue.

According to the Pinellas Park Police Department, a vehicle was heading westbound on Gandy Boulevard ran a red light, then hit a second vehicle that was turning in the intersection.

Police say the red-light runner then hit five more cars at the intersection.

No one was killed in the crash, but there is no word as to whether anyone was injured.

The crash blocked several lanes of Gandy Boulevard for nearly two hours. As of 3:44 p.m., all lanes in both directions of Gandy Boulevard have been reopened.
