One of Bay News 9’s Everyday Heroes from November 2015, Noah Vinot, is doing his part to help other kids once again.

  • Vinot hosted a food drive for homeless children
  • Vinot hoped to collect 1,000 pounds of food and $1,000

Vinot, 6, previously held a "Frozen" themed toy drive for the thousands of homeless children in Pasco County.

"Because they don't have homes," said Vinot.

“He actually got to meet most of the kids that were recipients of his efforts," said Noah’s mom, Kendell Vinot.

But Vinot knows those children need more than just presents. To address those needs, Vinot hosted a food drive.

“Our goal was a thousand pounds of food and a $1,000, but we didn't get any goals," said Vinot. He was being a little hard on himself, however, considering the food drive reached half of that goal.

“He at six years old wears his heart on his sleeve and is not afraid to step out and do things that he has never done before," said Kendell.

In fact, he’s already cooking up new ideas for his next food drive. The reason behind all his efforts is simple.

“I wish I could help everyone, that's the reason why," said Vinot.

And according to his mom, he won’t be stopping his good deeds anytime soon.

“Right before the last food drive he contacted the governor and asked the governor for help, so no, I don't think he plans on stopping anytime soon," said Kendell.

While Noah comes up with his next food drive, he has a GoFundMe for donations. To find out more about Noah's efforts, visit noahsfaith.com.
