Here's what you need to know about Tampa Bay weather for Friday night and through the Memorial Day weekend:

Tropical Depression 2 has formed east of the Bahamas. It could become TS Bonnie within the next 24 hours.  It is expected to move north-northwest and to the South Carolina coast over the weekend.  It will have no impact on our weather.

Skies will be clear overnight. Temperatures will be a little higher than Friday morning, with lows in mid 60s to low 70s.

For Saturday, easterly flow will continue with a similar situation to Friday.  The west coast sea breeze will
struggle to make it much past the immediate coast. Any showers or a storms that develop will be later in the day.

Rain chance will be at 20%.  High temperatures will be right around normal, but it will start getting a little more humid.

High pressure will be in place across the area through early next week. The resulting light winds will allow a sea breeze to form each day.

With increasing moisture, expect scattered showers and thunderstorms each day, mainly in the afternoons. Temperatures will be in the upper 80s to lower 90s for highs, and in the mid 60s to mid 70s for lows.
