The second named tropical storm of 2016, Tropical Storm Bonnie, has formed off the southeast coast of the U.S.

Winds have increased to 45 mph.  The storm is currently 130 miles south-southeast of Charleston, 120 miles southeast of Beaufort. It is still expected to make landfall by morning, near or just south of Charleston.

After making landfall, it will drift north along the SC coast, weakening but continuing the rain.  1” to 5” is expected.

This system will have no impact on our weather on the west coast of Florida this weekend.
