Here's what you need to know about Tampa Bay weather for the Memorial Day weekend:

Tropical Storm Bonnie is to the northeast of Florida is expected to move northwest and to the South Carolina coast before morning.  It will have no impact on our weather.

An upper level trough moved in overhead and will remain across the state through the weekend. Light winds will allow for an afternoon sea breeze on Sunday, and increasing moisture will allow for scattered showers and thunderstorms. The highest chances will again be across the southern half of the area.

Lows Sunday morning will fall into the upper 60s north to the mid 70s Tampa Bay.  Highs Sunday will be in the upper 80s near the coast to lower 90s inland.

A moist air mass will remain in place from Monday through next weekend. A relaxed pressure gradient will keep winds light, allowing sea breezes each day.

So daytime heating will result in a chance of showers and thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening. The highest chances will be over inland locations, mainly along the sea breeze boundary.

Temperatures will run near to just above seasonal normals.  Humidity is here to stay.
