Roller coaster fans don't have to wait much longer for Cobra's Curse.
The highly anticipated ride will open Friday, June 17, at Busch Gardens Tampa Bay.
The one-of-a-kind spin coaster features a menacing 300,000-pound snake icon and a 70-foot vertical lift.
Riders will speed at 40 mph along a winding, serpent-like track while spinning and traveling backward and forward.
June 17 seems to be the go-to date for theme parks this year. Disney World is opening its new Soarin' Around the World that day as well.
