Pasco County Sheriff's Office detectives are investigating a suspicious death of a 27-year-old woman who was found along the side of the road in Moon Lake overnight.
The call came in Tuesday at 1:40 a.m. that a woman, identified as Chance Marie Derrick, was found with injuries on the side of the road in the area of 9355 Spare Drive.
Fire rescue responded after a citizen called 911 and attempted to save her but she succumbed to her injuries on the scene.
