A depression on First Street S. has forced Winter Haven police to close part of the road.
The depression is in front of the Sonic Drive-In.
Police closed the northbound lanes of First Street S. from Post Avenue to Avenue O just as a precaution.
Drivers traveling from Cypress Gardens Boulevard northbound on First Street will be diverted around that spot.
