The likeness of a man who robbed a bank in Palm Harbor was caught on surveillance camera Friday afternoon.

  • Surveillance camera captured the suspect
  • Deputies asking for help in identifying the man

According to the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office, the suspect entered the Jefferson Bank of Florida, located at 35320 U.S. Highway 19 N., just after 3 p.m.

Once inside the bank, the suspect – described as a white, middle-aged male standing between 5’10 and 5’11 and at 230 pounds – displayed a black handgun and demanded cash.

He was successful in his efforts, and received an undisclosed amount. Detectives say he fled the scene in a silver sedan, traveling southbound on U.S. Highway 19.

The investigation is ongoing.
