Here's what you need to know about the Bay area weather for Wednesday evening into Thursday:

  • Inland showers, storms possible tonight
  • Showers to last until about sunset, die down later
  • Showers in Gulf, near coast overnight

There could be showers and thunderstorms over the inland parts of our area through the evening as the sea breezes come together. These will last until about sunset and die down later.

With the onshore winds, isolated showers and thunderstorms will develop in the Gulf of Mexico and near our coast overnight.

It remains warm and muggy with low temperatures in the upper 70s to 80 degrees in Tampa Bay and some low to mid 70s in our northern counties.

With the onshore winds, the storms will develop near the coast and Tampa Bay in the morning and early afternoon and become more numerous over the eastern half of the Florida peninsula during the late afternoon and evening.

High temperatures will be in the upper 80s to low 90s again on Thursday.
