An assistant principal at a Pasco County high school was arrested early Friday on DUI and cocaine possession charges after a traffic stop, deputies say.

Shannon M. Schultz, 38, an assistant principal at Land O' Lakes High School, was pulled over at Dale Mabry Highway and Hamilton Avenue for speeding and weaving, according to the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office. Deputies say she was traveling 68 mph in a 45 mph zone.

The deputy who pulled her over suspected impairment and requested a DUI investigator. She was subsequently arrested just after midnight on DUI and cocaine possession charges.
