Deputies with the Polk County Sheriff's Office's traffic homicide division are investigating a fatal crash that happened Monday at 2:34 p.m. The accident reportedly happened at 14th Street NW and Highway 17 in Fort Meade.
It involved a train versus a semi-truck.
One fatality has been confirmed, and motorists are advised to avoid the area.
