Tampa police have arrested a man in connection with an attack on an 81-year-old man.

Officers said 47-year-old Carlos Alberto Cordero has been charged with aggravated battery on a person over 65. He was also charged with robbery.
Alfred W. Watton was found seriously injured Wednesday in the backyard of his home in the 6400 block of N. 20th Street. Watton was found unconscious with upper body trauma, investigators said.
Some of his property was also missing, including a 2014 red Kia Sedona. The vehicle has not been located, and Cordero denied taking it, police said.
Police said the attack happened around 1:30 p.m. Watson was found in his backyard around 6:30 p.m. Watton's condition has not been released.
The police department said the incident appeared to stem from an argument about how much money Watton owed Cordero for lawn care services.
