Scattered showers and a few thunderstorms will continue through the evening, some could be heavy. Rain chances will go away overnight with partly cloudy skies.

The pattern the next few days will be back to a normal summer pattern of mainly afternoon to evening scattered storms.
Scattered storms will wind down with clearing overnight into early Thursday morning. Lows will be in the low to mid 70s for most spots, but upper 70s near the beach.
Skies will be sunny in the morning followed by partly cloudy skies in the afternoon with highs in the low to mid 90s.
There will be a 50 percent coverage of scattered storms in the afternoon to evening that will slowly wind down through the evening. The storms will tend to have a northwest drift toward the Gulf in the evening.
Friday will be similar with a 50 percent coverage of afternoon to evening scattered storms.
