Deputies in Pasco County are looking for a man who they believe beat a woman before taking her phone away when she attempted to call for help.

The suspect is 26-year-old Dakota Lee Kidder.

Kidder and the female victim were apparently arguing when the confrontation turned physical. According to reports, Kidder punched the woman in the face several times, breaking multiple bones.

During the struggle, deputies report that the woman tried to call 9-1-1, but Kidder – who has a lengthy arrest record – took the phone away, making it impossible for help to arrive.

The Pasco County Sheriff's Office wants to speak to Kidder on suspicion of felony battery, tampering with a witness and resisting without violence.
