Community Housing Partners of Citrus County (CHP) is hosting a daylong informational workshop.

CHP is offering a free HUD-certified homebuyer education class for veterans from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7, at 701 White Blvd. in Inverness.
CHP will offer counseling to veterans as needed in the home-buying process.
Veterans must bring their DD 214 form to the class. Food and drinks will be provided throughout the day.
CHP intends to have a giveaway the day of the event.
Community Housing Partners also hosts a class for non-veterans on the third Wednesday of each month. The cost is $50 per household.
