The storms passed through quickly today. So tonight will feature mainly quiet conditions with just an isolated chance of a shower. The storms moved to the west with that breezy wind from the east.

  • Tempertures cooler due to early afternoon rains
  • Chance of showers throughout the evening
  • Similiar pattern for Thursday and Friday

Lows will be in the mid to upper 70s.

Thursday will be similar to today in that we’ll start with sunny skies in the morning and then go partly cloudy in the afternoon.

There will be another round of scattered storms that move westward across the area. They will come through in the afternoon to early evening hours and quickly march into the gulf. Before the storms arrive, the high temperatures will reach the low 90s in most spots.

Expect winds to be breezy at times the next few days with that persistent east wind due to a strong high pressure to our north.

The winds will be breeziest in the morning and evening hours.

Rain coverage could increase over the weekend depending on the track and development of any tropical system that might impact the state. We will keep you posted on that possibility with our regular Tropical Update.
