Hillsborough County Fire Rescue crews are investigating a mobile home fire in Plant City that left one occupant of the home with serious injuries on Tuesday.

Officials said dispatchers received a 911 call regarding a fire at 12:50 p.m. A total of 25 firefighters responded to the scene on the 1800 block of McGee Road.
While fighting the fire, crews discovered the injured patient laying outside the mobile home. The patient, suffering from severe injuries sustained while trying to get out of the house, was transported to a local hospital.
Crews reported that the fire was put out in about 20 minutes. Investigators are now working on determining a cause of the fire.
