The rain chance is already starting on Florida’s east coast this morning. We will see some showers and storms increase in our area late morning through afternoon. The chance of rain today is 80 percent. Some locally heavy rain and gusty winds are possible with the storms this afternoon.

The clouds and rain will keep high temperatures below normal with most of Tampa Bay in the upper 80s.
