Here is a list of the Bay area closures, cancellations, postponements and delays because of this week's inclement weather:
Citrus
- Citrus County schools will be closed Friday, September 2 for students and staff.
Hillsborough
- Check your flight status at Tampa International Airport
- Bayshore Blvd. closed, both directions btwn Bay to Bay and Platt in advance of flooding. Find alt route.
- The FDOT Tampa Bay Express Community Engagement Workshop in Seminole Heights scheduled for Thursday night has been rescheduled for Wednesday, September 21 from 6:30 p.m.-8:30 p.m..
Hernando
- Hernando County schools will be closed for students and staff on Friday.
- Hernando County government offices will resume normal business hours on Friday.
Manatee
- Sunshine Skyway CLOSED due to high winds until further notice
Pasco
- Pasco County schools will remain closed for students and staff on Friday
- Saint Leo University campuses and offices will remain closed on Friday, September 2. A decision on weekend classes will be made Friday.
Pinellas
- Sunshine Skyway CLOSED due to high winds until further notice
- UPDATED: The Pinellas County Department of Health will be CLOSED Friday, September 2, per Gov. Scott's directive at 9 p.m. on Thursday. Pinellas is one of 37 county health departments around the state that will be closed.
- All Pinellas County offices, parks, courts to reopen Friday
- Largo facilities closed Thursday: Recreation facilities, Largo Public library, will close at 6 p.m. Wednesday. All city facilities will be closed Thursday. If citizens have questions they may still call the main City Hall number at (727)587-6700.
- Neighborly Care Network in Clearwater closing all programs FRIDAY including all MEALS ON WHEELS deliveries, Senior Dining Sites, Adult Day Care Centers, and transportation. Call 727-288-4973 for information.
