The Bay area roads were closed Saturday afternoon as a result of residual flooding and rain.
Please note that while the following list contains only roads officially closed to traffic, there are still quite a few roads throughout the Bay area dealing with standing water and difficult driving conditions. Please drive with care.
Pasco County
— As of 1:24 p.m. the west bound turning lane at Rowan and SR 54 is impassible
— Barricades are set up at Ridge Rd/US 19; Main St/US 19; and Kinsmere Drive in Trinity
— High Tide at 2:15 p.m. could cause additional flooding along the Anclote and Cotee Rivers
Citrus County
West Fort Island Trail has been closed just west of the Marine Science Station at the Salt River Bridge. Closure postings have been placed on West Fort Island Trail just west of U.S. 19 and at the closure location.
The weather is also affecting air travel causing some cancellations and delays.
