The scattered storms this evening had a northwest movement toward the gulf. They will wind down with clearing skies overnight into early Friday morning.

  • Storms die down overnight
  • Sunny start to Friday
  • Temperatures warm up quickly

Lows will be in the mid to upper 70s for most spots. Friday will start with mostly sunny skies in the morning. Temperatures will warm quickly with highs again reaching the low 90s.

Clouds will build in the afternoon as our sea breeze slowly moves in from the gulf. Storms will then form with a 50 percent coverage by the end of the evening.

The storm movement for Friday will be toward the west-northwest.

The weekend will start with a slug of drier air moving across our atmosphere on Saturday. That will result in a drop in our rain chance. There will only be a 20 to 30 percent coverage of isolated storms Saturday afternoon to evening.

Otherwise you can expect mostly sunny skies with temperatures in the low to mid 90s.
