A man was killed early Friday after being struck by a vehicle along southbound Interstate 75 in Tampa.
The crash happened around 3:30 a.m.

The southbound lanes, which were closed for a few hours, were reopened to traffic at 7 a.m.
According to the Florida Highway Patrol, a GMC Arcadia SUV struck the man who was standing in the center lane of highway. The SUV and a Chrysler van both were unable to avoid the man and struck him.
The victim died at the scene. His identity has not been released yet.
The 61-year-old man driving the SUV suffered minor injuries. The 29-year-old man driving the van was not injured.
Troopers closed a stretch of the highway after the crash and moved SB traffic off the interstate at Fowler Avenue.
The medical examiner was called to the scene.
The crash remains under investigation.
