The cold front that has been moving toward us is close to stalling out north of Tampa Bay. So unfortunately we will not see a blast of cooler air.

  • No major thunderstorms overnight
  • Drier air in northern counties
  • Slightly lower humidity in the a.m.

Drier air will keep the rain chance very low for Citrus and Hernando counties through the morning.  But there will still be a few lingering scattered showers from Pasco County southward through morning.

For the morning, it will be mainly dry with slightly lower humidity for a few hours, especially in areas north of Tampa.  Lows will be in the upper 60s north and low to mid 70s south.

Saturday will start out quiet with slightly less humid air in the morning. But the humidity will start coming right back as quickly as Saturday afternoon.

By Saturday afternoon to evening there will be some scattered storms coming back in. Highs  will be in the upper 80s.

That front will slowly drift back northward with lots of moisture and high humidity easing back into our area from Sunday onward into next week.
